Why use this wheel

Nothing to set up

Open the page, replace the placeholder options with your own, and spin. No account, no tutorial, no configuration.

Send the wheel to anyone

The share link carries the whole wheel. Whoever opens it gets your exact options loaded and ready to spin.

Spin as often as you like

No daily limit, no paywall, no feature held back. Every spin draws fresh from a cryptographic random source.

The fastest path from a list to an answer

This is the plain version: a blank wheel waiting for whatever you need decided. Replace the placeholder options, press spin or hit Space, and read the result. The entire interaction is three actions long and none of them involve an account.

Options can be anything you can type. Names, meals, chores, film titles, prices, dates, made-up rules for a game you invented five minutes ago. The wheel does not interpret them — it just holds them and picks one.

If a list is something you will use again, it is saved automatically in your browser for next time. If it is something you need to hand to someone else, the share button encodes the whole wheel into a URL, so a colleague can open your exact set of options without either of you signing up for anything.

Keyboard, fullscreen and the small things

Space spins. F goes fullscreen. Those two cover almost every session, and they matter more than they sound when the wheel is on a projector or a stream and you do not want a mouse cursor drifting across the screen.

The spin has sound and the win has confetti, both of which can be turned off — a classroom that needs quiet, or a stream where you are already running your own audio. Reduced-motion preferences are respected automatically, so the animation shortens for anyone who has asked their system for less movement.

Every result lands in a history list. That is more useful than it sounds: it means you can spin a few times, compare, and still recover the first answer without having to remember it.

One spin, or a whole tournament

Classic mode is the default and does what the name suggests — one spin produces one winner. Battle Duel changes the shape of the exercise: each spin eliminates an option and the wheel redraws with the survivors, until one is left standing.

For a list of six or more, elimination is usually the more entertaining choice, and it produces a ranked order rather than a single answer. For a quick call between two or three options, Classic is faster and the drama would be wasted.

Spinning in front of other people

A wheel spun privately is a random number generator with extra steps. A wheel spun in front of the people it affects is something else: it converts a decision into an event that everyone witnessed, which is the only reason anyone tolerates the three seconds of animation.

That changes what matters. The list has to be readable from wherever people are sitting, the moment it lands has to be obvious without anyone narrating it, and the result has to stay on screen long enough for the room to react. Press F before you spin and the wheel fills the display, the spin is audible, and the winner appears in type sized for the back of a hall rather than for the person holding the laptop.

It also changes what you should not do. Re-spinning because the first result was unpopular is the fastest way to make every future spin worthless, and everyone in the room will notice. If a result might need overriding, say so before the first spin — a wheel that advises is fine, a wheel that is quietly ignored is theatre.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to create an account?

No. There is no sign-up, no email and no login. Open the page and spin.

Is there a limit on how many times I can spin?

No. There is no daily cap, no paywall and no feature reserved for paying users.

Can I send my wheel to someone else?

Yes. The share button encodes every option into a link. Anyone who opens it gets the same wheel loaded — no account needed on either side.

What keyboard shortcuts are there?

Space spins and F toggles fullscreen. Those two cover most sessions; the full list is in the shortcuts panel.

Does it work properly on a phone?

Yes — the wheel scales to the screen, the spin is a tap, and the option list becomes a scrolling panel underneath rather than a cramped sidebar.

What happens if my connection drops mid-session?

Nothing. After the first visit the app is cached, so the wheel keeps spinning offline and can be installed to a home screen like an app.
